The general closed gear reducer transmission

How to lubricate the gear reducer. The lubrication of the reducer is also a very important link for the maintenance of the reducer. Open and semi-open gear reducer transmission, or low speed closed gear transmission, usually people work cycle oil lubrication, the lubricant used for lubricating oil or grease. The lubrication of the reducer also has its own conditions, and the conditions for lubrication of different reducers are also different. Let's take a look at how the gear reducer is lubricated by Shanghai Saijing reducer.

When the peripheral speed of the gear of the reducer is> 12 m/s, oil injection lubrication should be adopted, that is, oil is supplied by the oil pump or the central oil supply station at a certain pressure, and the lubricating oil is sprayed onto the meshing surface of the gear teeth through the nozzle. When v≤ 25 m/s, the nozzle can be located at the tooth engagement edge or the outpost edge; when v>25 m/s, the nozzle should be located at the tooth outpost side, so that the lubricating oil can be used to cool the newly engaged gear teeth in time and lubricate the gear teeth at the same time.

The general closed gear reducer transmission, the lubrication method according to the peripheral speed of the gear size. When the peripheral speed of the gear V<12 m/s, the teeth of the large gear are often immersed in the oil for oil immersion lubrication. In this way, when the gear is driving, it brings the lubricating oil to the meshing tooth surface, and at the same time throws the oil to the wall of the box to dissipate heat. The depth of the gear immersed in the oil may depend on the circumferential speed of the gear. For cylindrical gears, it is usually not more than one tooth height, but generally should not be less than 10mm; for bevel gears, it should be immersed in the full tooth width, at least half of the tooth width. In a multi-stage gear drive, oil can be brought to the tooth flanks of the gears that are not immersed in the oil by means of a tanker.

The amount of oil in the oil pool depends on the size of the gear transmission power. For single-stage transmission, the oil demand is about 0.35 ~ 0.7Lo for every Ikw of power transmitted. For multi-stage transmission, the oil demand increases exponentially according to the number of stages.
